“Faces Behind the Faces” explores the visual arts

On August 9, a Collective Art Exhibition opened at Mojo Art Gallery, Saint Nicolas district, Achrafieh, Beirut, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
“Faces Behind the Faces” reveals different ways of exploring visual arts. Faces of all colors, shapes, materials are deployed on the walls of the two floors of the gallery. Acrylic, oil paint, ink, colored pencils, gouache, paint or acrylic on clay, canvas or paper, everything invites whoever visits the space into a world of faces and expressions where everything is an invitation to see further.

As for the artists coming from different horizons, their work has already been exploited in different countries or places. Elias Ayoub, Frixos Polenakis, Guitta Melki, Louma Rabah, Nicole Karam, Nomaan Issa, Rached Bohsali, Rami Mansour, Rana Allush, Rawan Haidar, Salah Missi, Semaan Khawam and Teressa Aboud have generously displayed their talents before the eyes of experts and art lovers alike, reflecting in their works melancholy, weariness, fear, pride, joy, love… all impregnated with personal or relational stories, collective memory and this overflow of human or humanity that we carry in ourselves.
The exhibition will continue until September 30, 2022.
