A splendid villa in Dubai

In the prestigious District 1 community of Mohammad Ben Rached Al Maktoum, Dubai, this luxurious 830 m2 villa, designed by ELE Interior Design and furnished by Cherwell Interiors, exudes elegance and luxury, while preserving its neoclassical originality. It boasts unrivalled sophistication and indulgence on a corner plot of impressive size and a breathtaking view of magnificent landscaped gardens, surrounded by lush vegetation and the nearby lagoon.

The project involved renovating a villa, using only natural materials. The customer wanted a modern, elegant and luxurious home, while retaining its neoclassical originality. Designers Leali Ezzat and Bethany Lockhart of ELE Interior Design modified the interior, façade and landscaping. The hotel-inspired home is the ideal setting for social gatherings. It features an impressive entrance hall and a vestibule displaying selected pieces, leading to an open-plan living room, bar and dining room. The tastefully designed interiors are finished with high-end products, including marble floors, contemporary lighting by Flos, Italian furniture by Minotti and Visionnaire, and other bespoke pieces. The residence boasts five spacious bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom. The master suite is a true oasis, with a vast balcony overlooking the private pool, a dressing room and a bathroom with bathtub and rain shower. A kitchen equipped with quality appliances and a picturesque landscape rich in palm trees, flowering shrubs and serene lawns recall those of a sumptuous boutique hotel. Project management involved collaboration with landscaping contractors and various suppliers. A bespoke stone bench and a striking olive tree, surrounded by minimalist yet luxurious chandeliers and hand-selected Italian furniture, welcome residents and their visitors. The living space seamlessly connects to a formal sitting area, dining room and outdoor landscaping. A double-height staircase, adorned with beveled tinted mirrors, stucco cladding and integrated LED lighting, makes all the difference.
