Designed by LW Design Group and located in the Jumeirah district of Dubai, this 889 m² villa meets the clients’ specifications to live in a secluded and peaceful space. As a result, the house has a contained, calm and intimate family atmosphere.
Throughout the design of this project, the courtyard is the key architectural element providing visual relief and spatial hierarchy to the location. On the ground floor, the U-shaped site planning creates a separation between the guest wing, home office functions and family areas, generating a sense of privacy. On the upper level, the courtyard offers a unification of the bedrooms adjoining the master bedroom for parents and those for young children. A shaded rooftop terrace accessible from family areas is an additional entertainment place. The spatial experience and quality can be felt by opening the floor-to-ceiling glass walls allowing a view of the lush garden, connecting the indoor and the outdoor. A small swimming pool is easily accessible from the main house where an outdoor dining is a transition between this area and the garden, and an ornamental tree provides shade whilst a water feature’s trickling sound permeates the space. The engaged customer loves the design as evidenced by the quality of the material. The villa epitomizes the intimate family lifestyle.
