An ideal farm in Connecticut, USA

Located in Redding, Connecticut, this contemporary farmhouse is made by Fletcher Development, under the direction of Christopher Pagliaro. A versatile space, it responds to the owner’s desire for an open and welcoming place to meet with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

In the United States, and more exactly in Redding, Connecticut, on the grounds of a former apple orchard, the studio Christopher Pagliaro Architects has imagined a farmhouse with a charming design. Executed by Fletcher Development, it is flooded with natural light, thanks to large windows and skylights with motorized glazing. The venues safeguard the necessary need for privacy, but they are also open and accessible for welcoming friends and entertaining by throwing big parties. This owner’s request is crowned with success, as every weekend the rooms are full of guests from all over the country. Decorator Tina Anastasia from Mark P. Finlay Interiors created a warm and comfortable atmosphere, at the same time fun and dynamic. The dominant color is pure white, which allows to highlight colored decorative touches. The mansion is filled with oversized works of art, to induce a sense of modernity. These paintings are a nod to the bucolic environment of the residence, as well as to the rustic aesthetic of the region. A project crowned with the Hobi Prize, in the category of the best personalized house, thus attesting to the exceptional quality of its design and construction.
