In New York, the American architecture studio Resolution: 4 Architecture (RES4) designed an exceptional loft, formed of two levels all in whiteness and brilliance, to house a young family of four, in an atmosphere both serene and joyful.

In the Flatiron district of Manhattan, New York, the design office Resolution: 4 Architecture (RES4), under the direction of architects Joseph Tanney and Robert Luntz, and with the collaboration of Kristen Mason, imagine a duplex of 280 m2, not very common. Although at first glance, the space does not seem suitable for children, the house is designed with a family, playful and artistic perspective. So much of the furniture is children’s scale. At the bottom of the stairs is an open space, which leads to a games, study and recreation room. The main level contains the living area, with large windows to the south and east. The bedrooms are located on the lower level, accessed by a sculptural spiral staircase. The hostess was very active throughout the design and construction process. She created the works of art in the master bedroom and the powder room, as well as others in those of the children. She also designed the dining room table and selected the lighting and furniture. This project is therefore the sum of an integrated collaboration between the architect, the client and the contractor, contributing to its perfect success.
