Terme dei Papi
The Terme dei Papi are the oldest baths in the city of Viterbo. These thermal waters were already appreciated in ancient times and owe their name Terme dei Papi, to the fact that Pope Nicholas V loved their beneficial properties so much that he built a building that took the name of Bagno del Papa. The Fiuggi Hot Springs are ancient and historically famous. Fiuggi’s waters belong to the group of natural oligomineral waters. The waters of Fiuggi were known since Roman times as “Fons Arilla.” In fact, ruins of buildings and remains of Roman roads have been found in the area where these springs flow. The waters from the Acque Albule spring are sulphurous and hypothermal. Terme di Montepulciano
The Terme di Montepulciano is a characteristic thermal park located in the splendid town of Montepulciano, in the Sienese countryside, between the two tourist areas of Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana.
