At the water’s edge

l'effilee-house-ogden-canada-mu-architecture-new

Nestled on the shores of Lake Memphremagog, in the Quebec region of Estrie, this construction is a beautiful home imagined by MU Architecture. The luxury property with an atypical design and exceptional location is original on more than one level. Focus on a dream house.

We fell in love with this sublime home in fusion with nature. Located in the magnificent Quebec region of Estrie, on the edge of the american border, this residence, a work of MU Architecture, is a hymn to tranquility. Housed in Ogden, on the steep shores of Lake Memphremagog, the building, which opens onto a peaceful bay, unfolds into a long slender volume. Designed to live in the heart of nature and blend into it, it revolves around spaces of great refinement, arranged in a row, open or semi-open, offering an infinite wealth of situations that allow you to maintain permanent contact with the natural element. Open-plan, wide open, the structure, flooded with light thanks to the large bay windows and skylights, hides, under its massive and dark envelope, a refined and harmonious universe all in lightness and in tune with the times. Meticulously thought out and tastefully decorated, the latter houses, in addition to the master apartments, two luxurious suites with bathrooms and adjoining small lounge, a sauna and a training room. A service corridor, connecting the main entrance to that of the garden level, also connects the garage, a small bathroom, a laundry room and a pantry which gives direct access to the kitchen by a secret door.
