A dream chalet in the Swiss Alps

In the Alps, the interior design of this chalet was entrusted to the care of the franco-swiss interior architect Alexandra de Garidel. Transformed into a true jewel of ultramodern softness, it offers foolproof comfort. Ideally perched on the heights of the Swiss Alps, the aesthetic hamlet combines modernity with traditional materials. A style exercise deciphered by Alexandra.

Built on three levels totaling nearly 800 m2, this exceptional jewel mixes rusticity and design, with a little extra unique and refined atmosphere, which marks the style of the designer. Artist and scenographer, Alexandra de Garidel imprints her taste for beauty and the original. Indeed, not only is she renowned for her passion for creativity but also for her desire to break with codes and shake up conventions, developing each project, from a tailor-made vocabulary, made up of textures, colors, proportions, objects and works of art and presenting a style that is immediately recognizable although difficult to define. Nestled in its peaceful, green setting, the refuge, built with respect for alpine architectural traditions and above all with optimum comfort, embodies the luxury of a prestigious mountain residence and the warmth of local architecture. Under its welcoming air, it contains a completely modern world.

Large spaces combined with top of the range, dream services worthy of the greatest hotels… Synonymous with charm and conviviality, this cottage is an original creation. Its interior, punctuated with works of art and furniture with pure lines signed by the big names in design, is bright and wonderfully imagined. The wood, which invites itself without restraint, giving the space the warm atmosphere specific to mountain constructions, is sublimated by a sumptuous decoration, in tune with the times. The architect took great pleasure in dressing up every corner of the shed in detail, infusing it with the right dose of modernity. The colors, tones and materials are expertly chosen to orchestrate and perfect this world of luxury, out of the ordinary. Here, the refinement is absolute but not ostentatious, designed to accentuate the cozy aspect. In addition, in a clear desire to allow owners to enjoy breathtaking views of the peaks, Alexandra de Garidel opts for large openings and glass facades to constantly interact with nature. What could be more wonderful than dreaming of the peaks, snuggled inside, by the fire, feeling as close as possible to the mountains?
